Les digitations du diaphragme.

For some views, I advise you to reduce the speed of the image after carefully reading the texts in order to understand the movements.

To treat the functional abutment, position the lower attachment of the P. Anat. I show the transition zones placed on the vertical, and the translation zones related to the mobility of a normal spine.
 
Then a normal thorax with the diaphr. digitations in plan view, whose orientations are related to the insp. deployment of the thorax.
 
The anatomical pillars are shown in two orientations.
 
Observe carefully a digitation with its reflection pulley and copings. I show its connection with the P.A. that fixes the pulley pivot. As the thorax unfolds in three dimensions, I position the 9th digitation at the 9th intercostal space.
 
You can see the difference between a fixed and a mobile center.
 
I show in profile the orientation at expiration on the active pulleys, opposite to the inspiratory exhaust. The functional pillar is formed according to the shape of the spine and the inclination of the pelvis.

I show the functional abutment associated with the abdominal bundles.

The same mechanisms are found in the frontal plane with a hemithoracic correspondence.
